9-4-2006: RPG Statistics

Started RPG Statistics Section by suggestion of coworker Josh Larson. This was actually planned to come sometime later, but now seemed like a good time to add it to bring in more visitors. Initial entries will have the more general stats for WEG d6 and WOTC d20 systems. Once I get a better idea of how much data there is, the remaining details and possibly individual page templates will be added.

8-25-2006 to 9-4-2006: Source Material Library

Added images for items that did not have images. Finished from The Old Republic Era through the Episode II timeframe.

8-19-2006: Multiple Sections

Modified the Category and Item/Cast Listing templates to show the correct display names for sources with special characters in the names.

Modified the Category and Item/Cast Listing templates to allow links to other sources in the Notes section.

Corrected some item entries in sources that required them for items that had existing related entries. Added images that were already on the site to source material. Added and replaced some images for items that already had images.

Modified the Source Material lists to offer a choice between the original category listings and the new item/cast listings.

Added a new page template to generate item/cast listings for each source in addition to the original guide category listings. The result of this is numbered lists can now be listed in numerical order instead of sorted around by what the item is.

Corrected template to stop printing colons for items in source entries with empty part names. Previously, it would print items.. [ : Like This ] .. now it prints them.. [ Like This ]

Corrected and updated item lists for 'The Essential Guide To Characters' during the apostrophe replacement fix since it contained so many characters with apostrophes.

8-5-2006: Star Wars Section

Revised previous fix to correct character/planet matching entries with an apostrophe in the name. Instead of removing apostrophes from the name matches, replaced them with spaces to remain closer visually with the original names.

Added More Information links to Official Site databank entries for remaining characters.

6-25-2006: Star Wars Section

Found some inherent differences between the versions of PHP on my test machine and the live site that required the following changes:
- Added error-checking code to the Sentient Races individual page template in response to errors when an example character was not present to check against the source listings.
- Added display names and altered lookup names for characters, planets, & sentient races whose names contained a quote mark or apostrophe. The code to do this was already added before the PHP version went live for names that contained an exotic character (such as Padmé and her handmaidens).

6-25-2006: Who's Who

Updated characters database with the apostrophe/quote character names also included additional More Information links to Official Site databank entries.

6-18-2006: Sentient Races

Corrected PHP error.

6-18-2006: Source Material Library

Corrected PHP error. Also changed the code to sort by the planet/race/ship/character in the appropriate sections and added the portion of the source to the 'Other' section.

6-17-2006: Who's Who

Updated characters database with information lost from pre-PHP hard drive crash and included information from original Ghostwheel version of the Guide.

6-10-2006: Star Wars Section

Converted from XSLT to PHP. Additional changes include: Sentients, Planets, Starships, and Who's Who share much of the same code and generate their pages dynamically, linking between them; characters database fully updated from 1-D.

Restandardized at 400 pixels as largest game box art axis size, resized existing boxes. Only exceptions are GameTap pictures, which are 2x sized to 500 x 398.

Removed icons from individual 360 achievements after a surge in their number by both John and Troy.
